For Chucky

So, last year, my hard drive crashed and I had to recover a shitton of data as well as buy a new computer. That was one of the shittiest few months of my life, especially since it happened not long after my employer and I parted ways. I bought a low-end computer in October, which got me by in the meantime. And then in the middle of January, somebody broke into my car while I was at a friend's soccer game and stole my new computer.

I was devastated, especially since I was working four part-time jobs to keep my head above water. And then my boyfriend decided to surprise me and start collecting donations from our friends to buy me a new computer. I was floored, not only by his kindness and thoughtfulness, but by my friends' generosity. I have no idea how to thank people except by doing something like this.

I asked everybody who donated to send me their address and three favorite colors so that I could send them a personalized thank you. This is a part of that series of artworks, and I just hope they enjoy it.
